I arrived at Tacugama to fulfil a lifelong dream. As an ER nurse with a background in primatology, I spent my time assisting in the veterinary department and providing basic healthcare services to the staff. The people and chimps at Tacugama exceeded my expectations and I’m so fortunate to have been a part of their lives. Tacugama is like another home, and I hope to be back soon!
