Explore nearby Krio villages and take in the beauty of surrounding waterfalls with a stroll on one of our marked nature trails or laze in a hammock and admire the natural setting – the choice is yours!

All proceeds from the lodges and tours go directly towards the animals and conservation projects of the sanctuary.

Sanctuary tours are daily at 10.30am, 12:00pm, 2:00pm and 3:30pm, and last about 60 minutes.

We are happy to take group bookings but please be aware that Tacugama is a relaxing destination and not suitable for spirited celebrations. As we are located in a protected wildlife forest reserve we ask our guests to respect the tranquillity of our rainforest retreat.

Cancellation Policy

If for any reason you cancel your booking less than 48 hours ahead of your stay, we will ask you to pay 50% of the lodge and meal costs.
