Tetina arrived in 2012, and despite his name, he's a boy! He was captured in Koinadugu and kept for 1 week before brought to Freetown. After 4 visits and lots of community sensitization, he was successfully confiscated. Tetina is one of our visitor's favourite chimps, as he can often be found atop the highest pole waving to visitors as they pass by. He loves to play and is very rambunctious. He can be recognized by his distinctively large ears.
