Esther, who is from Kenema district, has one diploma in computer science and another in forestry, as well as a BSc in natural resource management. She joined the Tacugama team in 2019 after hearing wonderful things about the sanctuary at university and has been passionate about Tacugama’s mission ever since. After beginning as a volunteer, Esther now works full time assisting the operations manager with filling, reporting, and financing, on top of working as a field officer and regularly joining outreach trips to the communities.
