No one is left behind at Tacugama.

Since 2024, our beloved Ramba has been living with partial paralysis after a serious neurological illness. She can no longer live independently in a chimpanzee group, but she continues to show strength, personality, and a deep connection with the people who care for her.Ramba now depends on round the clock support, including two dedicated caregivers and  physiotherapy to help her stay mobile and comfortable.
