Traditional African Tales Under the Stars

Nourish your belly with a delicious meal, followed by a traditional African storyteller entertaining you with tales by a bonfire on our forest platform under the stars. This evening promises not to disappoint, and often includes audience participation – be it singing, dancing, drumming or more! A family-friendly event to which all are welcome.

Is this suitable for all ages?

All ages are welcome. The stories are traditional African tales which are often closely tied to themes around nature or culture. Kids are welcomed, and may even be called on as participants in the storytelling!

What should I bring?

You will be outside for the evening on an open-air platform in the forest. Drinks are available for purchase with dinner. All the sleeping quarters are outfitted with mosquito nets. Bring some insect repellent, a flashlight, and anything else you might need for the evening or overnight stay.

How many people usually join?

The event is limited to the first 15 people who sign up.
