The Sanctuary

National Geographic begins filming at Tacugama!

The crew from National Geographic will be shooting a documentary on human/chimpanzee conflict using last year's escape to explore the topic. The documentary will attempt to determine what shapes the human/chimp relationship and how these might affect our behaviour towards one another.

We are also very happy to welcome an old friend, Janis Carter, from The Chimpanzee Rehabilitation Trust in Gambia as a research consultant for the documentary.

Tacugama will be hosting the filmmakers over the next two weeks, and we are all excited to see the final outcome of this project.
